Bangladesh vs Netherlands 27th Match ICC T20 World Cup 2024

Bangladesh will take on the Netherlands in the 27th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 this Thursday, June 13, at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent. Both teams have secured one win each out of their two matches in Group D so far.

In their last game, Bangladesh played against South Africa. After winning the toss, South Africa chose to bat first, scoring 113 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Tanzim Hasan Sakib was the standout bowler for Bangladesh, taking three wickets for just 18 runs in his four overs. However, Bangladesh struggled with their batting, losing wickets quickly and managing only 109 runs for seven wickets, falling short by four runs.

The Netherlands also faced South Africa in their previous match. South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl. The Netherlands scored 103 runs for nine wickets in their 20 overs, with Sybrand Engelbrecht top-scoring with 40 runs off 45 deliveries. South Africa chased down the target, reaching 104 runs in 18.5 overs with four wickets remaining. Vivian Kingma and Logan van Beek each took two wickets for the Netherlands.
