Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has called up 29 players for the friendlies in Australia but is missing some key players. Anthony Gordon is absent with an Achilles injury and Fabian Schar is still recovering from a hamstring strain.

Other notable absences include Sean Longstaff, Martin Dubravka, Loris Karius and Sandro Tonali, who is serving a 10-month ban for gambling. However, stars Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimarães, who scored last weekend, are available. Young talents Garang Kuol and Harrison Ashby were also called up after a loan spell.

On the Tottenham side, Cristian Romero, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso did not travel. Injuries ruled out Richarlison, Destiny Udogie, Yves Bissouma, Timo Werner and Ben Davies.

But Spurs fans can expect to see captain Son Heung-min, Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski, who scored twice against Sheffield United, in action. Additionally, young midfielders Rio Kyerematen and Leo Black joined the team for the first time.
